Born in County Durham, England, Sam Lavery began her music career at a young age, leading to her participation in the highly competitive thirteenth series of The X Factor UK in 2016. At 17 years old, Lavery successfully navigated through numerous audition stages, including mobile auditions and open auditions held in cities like Newcastle upon Tyne. Her journey on the show advanced beyond the initial rounds of judges’ auditions, bootcamp, and the six-chair challenge, ultimately securing a place in the live shows as part of Simon Cowell’s ‘Girls’ category.
