After his pivotal collaboration with Katy Perry on her 2017 hit single ‘Chained to the Rhythm,’ Skip Marley established a distinct musical identity through acclaimed releases and high-profile performances. This significant collaboration led to marquee performances at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards, Brit Awards, and iHeartRadio Music Awards in 2017, significantly broadening his mainstream audience. Marley initiated his musical career in 2015 with the release of his debut singles, ‘Cry to Me’ and ‘Life,’ both under the Tuff Gong label.
