Phillip Nickolas Katsabanis, known professionally as Stitches, was born on June 17, 1995, in Miami, Florida. Of Greek and Cuban descent, he grew up in Kendall, Florida. Katsabanis embarked on his music career under the moniker Lil Phill before adopting the name Stitches. His entry into the music scene gained traction in 2014 with the release of his debut mixtape, “No Snitching Is My Statement.” This was quickly followed by his first studio album, “For Drug Dealers Only,” released in 2015, establishing his presence in the hip-hop genre. His music primarily falls within the subgenres of hip hop, trap, and horrorcore, characterized by themes often touching upon drug dealing and street life.

Over the course of his career, Stitches has released multiple studio albums. After his 2015 debut, he continued to release “Tales of a Drug Lord” in 2016, and both “Cocaine Holiday” and “I Need Rehab” in 2017. The years 2018 saw the release of “Bipolar” and “Time for Murder.” In 2020, he released “Married to the Bricks,” and has a collaborative album, “Alligator Alcatraz,” with Forgiato Blow and FJ Outlaw, and a solo album, “Finally Sober,” both slated for 2025. These albums, alongside mixtapes like “Brick Bible” (2015) and “Brick Bible 2” (2019), showcase a consistent output and development in his musical catalog.

Stitches’ public profile has also included encounters with the legal system. In August 2022, he was arrested on felony cocaine possession and a misdemeanor weapons charge in Bay Harbor Islands. However, these charges were subsequently dropped in September 2022. This event, despite the dropped charges, provided a certain level of public recognition. His work continues to contribute to the trap and horrorcore scenes, maintaining an active presence in the music industry. His discography reflects a steady progression, marked by regular album and mixtape releases since his debut.
