Tucker Russell Beathard was born on January 24, 1995, in Nashville, Tennessee. The son of renowned country music songwriter Casey Beathard, and grandson of NFL Hall of Famer Bobby Beathard, Tucker initially pursued an athletic path. He played drums in a band with his brothers as a child, but his focus shifted to music after a shoulder injury prevented him from playing Division I baseball at Middle Tennessee State University. He graduated from Battle Ground Academy in 2014 and then committed fully to his musical aspirations, influenced by growing up around his father’s songwriting career. By late 2014, he began performing in the southeastern United States, and in 2015, his self-released demos on YouTube, including “Ride On” and “Faithful,” attracted interest and allowed him to tour with artists like Maddie and Tae and Dierks Bentley.
In September 2015, Beathard signed with Dot Records, a subsidiary of Big Machine Records, and released “The Demos Vol. 1” EP in October of that year. His debut single, “Rock On,” released in March 2016, achieved significant success, peaking at number 2 on the US Country charts. This led to his six-song EP, “Fight Like Hell,” released in October 2016. However, creative differences caused a delay in his planned debut album, “Dear Someone,” in November 2017, leading to his departure from Dot Records in January 2018. Following a legal battle to retain his music, Beathard independently released his debut album, “Nobody’s Everything,” in November 2018, which was planned as the first part of a two-part album project.
Beathard signed with Warner Music Nashville in January 2019, where he continued to release new music, including singles like “Better Than Me” and “Find Me Here.” In September 2019, he headlined the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour. His second studio album, “King,” which served as the second part of his double album concept, was released in August 2020 through Warner Music Nashville. He continued to release singles, such as “Prayin’ for You” in December 2021 and “One Of Those” in November 2022. In 2024, Beathard departed from Warner Music Nashville. His personal life includes the tragic loss of his younger brother, Clay Beathard, in December 2019, and he became a father to his daughter, Sage, born in July 2018.
