Victoria Justice

Victoria Dawn Justice was born on February 19, 1993, in Hollywood, Florida, to Serene Reed and Zack Justice. Her mother is of Puerto Rican ancestry, and her father has English, German, and Irish roots. At the age of ten, in 2003, her family relocated to Los Angeles, California, allowing her to pursue an acting career more intensely. Her early career included a guest appearance on “Gilmore Girls” in 2003 and on the Disney Channel series “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” in 2005. She was accepted into the musical theatre program at the Millikan Performing Arts Academy in Los Angeles in 2005, further developing her artistic skills. During her early years, she also appeared in commercials for brands like Ralph Lauren, Gap, Guess, Mervyn’s, Peanut Butter Toast Crunch, and Ovaltine.

Justice rose to prominence through her roles on Nickelodeon. She secured a leading role as Lola Martinez in “Zoey 101,” joining the cast in its second season in September 2005 and continuing with the series until its conclusion in 2008. In 2010, she landed the lead role of Tori Vega in the sitcom “Victorious,” which debuted on March 27, 2010, and garnered 5.7 million viewers for its premiere. This marked a significant milestone, leading to numerous musical contributions to the show’s soundtrack albums, which achieved commercial success on the Billboard 200. She also starred in Nickelodeon films such as “The Boy Who Cried Werewolf” (2010).

Transitioning beyond Nickelodeon, Justice signed with Columbia Records, releasing her debut single “Gold” in 2013. Although she later left the label, she continued to pursue music independently, releasing singles like “Treat Myself” (2020) and “Stay” (2021). Her film credits include “The First Time” (2012), “Fun Size” (2012), “Naomi and Ely’s No Kiss List” (2015), “A Perfect Pairing” (2022), and “The Tutor” (2023). On television, she led the MTV thriller series “Eye Candy” (2015) and appeared in “The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do the Time Warp Again” (2016). Justice has also been involved in philanthropy, notably supporting the United Nations Foundation’s Girl Up campaign.
