Violet Chachki

Violet Chachki is a renowned drag queen, burlesque performer, model, and television personality, celebrated for their distinctive aesthetic and contributions to fashion and entertainment. After winning the highly competitive seventh season of RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2015 and securing the $100,000 prize, Violet Chachki solidified their status as a global phenomenon. Immediately following their win on June 2, 2015, Chachki released their debut single ‘Bettie,’ which was featured on their critically acclaimed debut EP, Gagged. Earlier in their career, Chachki gained significant local recognition as a regular performer at The Other Show at Jungle in Atlanta, where they performed alongside established drag artists like Alaska Thunderfuck and Lady Bunny, and won Miss New Faces on Ponce.

Most recently in 2023, Violet Chachki achieved another significant milestone by appearing on an alternate cover of Vogue Czechoslovakia, marking them as the first RuPaul’s Drag Race alumna to grace the cover of a Vogue edition.
