Vivian Green

Vivian Green is an American R&B singer-songwriter and pianist, recognized for her chart-topping singles and a career spanning over two decades. After co-writing ‘Dear God’ for Boyz II Men’s 1997 double-platinum album Evolution, Vivian Green established herself as a formidable talent in R&B. Her career advanced significantly with a demo created alongside singer-songwriter Eric Roberson, attracting major label attention, while she concurrently served as a backup singer for artist Jill Scott. Green signed with Columbia Records in 2001, culminating in the release of her debut album, A Love Story, in November 2002.

The lead single ‘Get Right Back to My Baby’ achieved significant commercial success, peaking at No. 2 on Billboard’s UAC chart in 2015, the same year Green received another Soul Train Award nomination. She continued this momentum in 2016 with ‘Grown Folks Music (Work),’ a single that climbed into the top 15 on Billboard’s UAC chart, further cementing her presence in contemporary R&B. Green’s continued evolution saw the release of her album VGVI in 2017, which spawned the top-10 hit ‘I Don’t Know’ on Billboard’s Adult R&B chart that year.

Her commitment to impactful collaborations led to a partnership with SoNo Recording Group through Make Noise Recordings in 2019. This collaboration resulted in her album Love Absolute, released in 2020. Vivian Green has consistently produced charting singles and celebrated albums, showcasing her enduring influence as a singer-songwriter and pianist in the R&B landscape.
