White Reaper is an American garage punk band known for their energetic live performances and chart-topping singles. The band has released multiple albums and performed extensively, contributing to the rock music scene. After quickly establishing their energetic garage punk sound with early releases, White Reaper signed with Polyvinyl Records in early 2014, marking their label debut with the release of the acclaimed White Reaper EP. Formed in 2012 by Tony Esposito (guitar/vocals) and Nick Wilkerson (drums), the band initially released two demos, DEMO 2012 and WHITE AURA, followed by a 7-inch featuring ‘The Cut’ and ‘Conspirator’ on Earthbound Records in 2013.
The band further showcased their compelling live presence with a television appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in December 2019, performing both ‘Might Be Right’ and ‘Real Long Time.’ Demonstrating their versatility, the band contributed a cover of ‘Sad But True’ to The Metallica Blacklist tribute album in 2021. Their fourth studio album, Asking for a Ride, was released in January 2023 on Elektra Records. A track from this album, ‘Getting Into Trouble w/ The Boss,’ gained national exposure when it was featured in a Taco Bell commercial.
Mid-2023 saw White Reaper supporting Weezer on several dates of their extensive Indie Rock Road Trip tour. White Reaper continues to evolve their creative output. In June 2025, the band announced their signing with Blue Grape Music, concurrently unveiling their fifth studio album, Only Slightly Empty, slated for release in September 2025.
