Wild Nothing

Wild Nothing, the indie rock project of multi-instrumentalist Jack Tatum, continues to evolve its sound while captivating audiences with new releases and live performances. After captivating indie music circles with his early demos, including a cover of Kate Bush’s ‘Cloudbusting,’ and securing a signing with Captured Tracks in 2009, multi-instrumentalist Jack Tatum, known as Wild Nothing, released his debut full-length album, Gemini, in 2010. The album garnered significant critical acclaim, with Pitchfork ranking Gemini as the 49th best album of 2010 and Amazon music editors placing it at 36th. This initial success established Wild Nothing as a distinctive voice in the indie rock landscape, further bolstered by the Golden Haze EP released the same year.

Most recently, Wild Nothing announced its highly anticipated fifth studio album, Hold, in August 2023, which was officially released on October 27, 2023. The album featured several prominent singles, including ‘Headlights On,’ which showcased guest vocals from acclaimed artist Hatchie, as well as ‘Suburban Solutions’ and ‘Dial Tone.’ Hold marks a new chapter for Wild Nothing, continuing to captivate audiences and critics alike with its distinctive blend of introspective lyricism and shimmering soundscapes.
