Formed in 2007, the Dutch DJ and record production duo W&W, comprised of Willem van Hanegem Jr. and Wardt van der Harst, swiftly established their presence in the electronic music scene. Their track, ‘Mustang,’ released in 2008, quickly gained recognition, earning plays from industry titans like Armin van Buuren and Tiësto. This early momentum culminated in their debut on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list in 2011 at 36th place.

The duo released their debut album, Impact, in 2011. Demonstrating entrepreneurial vision, W&W launched their record label, Mainstage Music, in April 2012 as a sub-label of Armada Music, featuring their own productions and work from acclaimed artists like Armin van Buuren. A significant milestone was ‘Invasion,’ released in 2012, honored as the A State of Trance 550 Anthem. W&W diversified their sound in 2012, transitioning towards big room house, exemplified by their single ‘Lift Off!’ This evolution led to collaborations and releases on Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings label.

Their relentless touring schedule and consistent output reinforce their status as global big room house and EDM staples, maintaining a prominent position in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs, consistently featuring within the top rankings.
