Yifei Liu has achieved international recognition as an actress, transitioning from early modeling and television success in China to starring roles in major Hollywood productions. After gaining early acclaim in Chinese television, Yifei Liu went on to achieve international recognition as a leading actress and musical artist. Accepted into the Performance Institute of Beijing Film Academy in September 2002, she quickly garnered attention with her debut TV role in ‘The Story of a Noble Family’ in 2003. That same year, Liu took on a significant role as Wang Yuyan in ‘Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils,’ based on Jinyong’s novel, earning her the popular nickname ‘Fairy Sister,’ and made her first big screen appearance in ‘Love of May.’ Her popularity further surged with her starring role in ‘The Legend of Sword and Fairy’ in 2004.
