Jeremy Biddle, known professionally as Yung Bleu or Bleu, was born on April 4, 1994, in Mobile, Alabama. He began his music career in 2013, releasing a series of mixtapes that helped him gain recognition within the Southern music scene. His early work led to a deal with Columbia Records through Boosie Badazz’s Bad Azz Music Syndicate.
In 2017, Yung Bleu released popular singles “Miss It” and “Ice on My Baby” from his mixtape Investments 4. He further expanded his reach by releasing remixes of these tracks in 2018, featuring artists such as Kid Ink and Kevin Gates. By 2020, after releasing _Inv 5_ and _Bleu Vandross_ under Columbia Records and Bad Azz Music, he signed with Empire Distribution and secured a management deal with Meek Mill’s Dream Chasers Records.
His career saw significant advancement with the 2020 single “You’re Mines Still,” which garnered mainstream attention following a remix featuring Canadian rapper Drake. This collaboration propelled the track to number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100, and his accompanying EP, _Love Scars: The 5 Stages of Emotions_, appeared on the Billboard 200 chart. In 2021, Yung Bleu released his debut album _Moon Boy_, featuring collaborations with notable artists including Drake, Gunna, Big Sean, Kehlani, Chris Brown, 2 Chainz, and Kodak Black. He continued to build his discography with the release of his second studio album _Tantra_ in 2022 and _Love Scars II_ in 2023, which included features from Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Ty Dolla $ign, and Chris Brown.
