About

Breion “2’Live Bre” Dixon began his artistic journey as a child in Nashville, journaling stories with aspirations of becoming a movie director. A friend’s observation of his writing led him into rap, inspired by a mentor, Wesley Crutcher, from the Boys and Girls Club. At 13, Breion, alongside Jamal McKinney, formed the rap group “Young Squad,” which gained local recognition, performing at events like a John F. Kennedy Middle School pep rally. This period established him as a pioneer among young Nashville hip-hop artists, alongside names like Kid Krunk, Lil Trip, and Cloud 9. As a solo artist in high school, under the name Lil Bre, he became a fixture at teen nights, sweet 16s, and proms across Middle Tennessee. His senior year included headline performances at Municipal Auditorium with artists such as Mindless Behavior, Yo Gotti, and Jacques. He also co-owned a business with DJ Malik and DJ Official, generating income by organizing parties.

At 18, 2’Live Bre signed a production deal with Street Symphony through Track or Die Records, expanding his presence to college campuses, particularly Tennessee State University. He became known for his “Lit God Sets” and for orchestrating a party at Waffle House, contributing to the Nashville culture. In 2019, he received invitations to audition for “The Four” by P Diddy and DJ Khaled, which broadened his exposure to the music industry’s larger platforms. Shortly after, he was contacted by Jesse Collins’ team for the show “Rhythm and Flow,” where he gained further recognition. The same night he hosted TSU’s homecoming concert featuring Young Thug, NBA Young Boy, and Young Dolph, he traveled for this opportunity, which marked a significant turning point in his career.

Currently, 2’Live Bre holds multiple roles, including Founder of the Music Tech Company Plek App, Director for the TV show Shine at BTV, Founder of Butterfly Nation, a shoe designer with BLANX, an actor, and an Outreach Manager for TN Respite. He also works as a songwriter, securing placements in various TV shows. He continues to create music, focusing on evolving his artistry. His work extends to community involvement, using his musical talents for charity events aimed at positive local impact. He emphasizes storytelling in his music and aims to create opportunities for his family, friends, and the Nashville Black entertainment community, striving to inspire others through his actions and music.
