Currently signed with American mixed martial arts promotion Bellator MMA, Aaron Pico is a combat fighter who has also competed as a freestyle wrestler.
Pico grew up in California, and started wrestling aged just four years old. He competed in numerous combat sports, winning the California Interscholastic Foundation State Championship as well as the Cadet World Championship in 2013. He chose to forgo his college eligibility, despite being the top ranked high school wrestler in the US, in order to pursue a professional career in combat sports. He went on to win medals at both the 2014 and 2015 Junior World Championships in freestyle wrestling, as well as placing second at the 2016 US Olympic Team Trials. Alongside his wrestling career, Pico was signed with Bellator MMA, making his debut for the promotion in 2017. He’s become well known for being a formidable competitor and a consistent fighter, clocking up 12 professional MMA fights and only three losses. He’s a highly sought after fighter in the industry, having signed a long standing endorsement with Nike as well as clothing brand Dethrone Royalty.
This experienced combat fighter and mixed martial artist continues to put in strong performances in the ring and is currently ranked as number 5 in the Bellator Featherweight Rankings. Pico is already a highly decorated and respected competitor and, at just 25 years old, looks set for many more years of success.
