Abbey Lee Kershaw’s career began with a significant win in the Australian Girlfriend Model Search in 2004, leading her to sign with Chic Management in Sydney by 2005. By March 2007, she relocated to New York City, signing with Next Management and rapidly establishing herself as a prominent figure in the fashion industry. Her runway presence graced shows for esteemed designers including Oscar de la Renta, Halston, Rodarte, Gucci, D&G, Fendi, Versace, Alexander McQueen, and Chanel. Kershaw made her New York Fashion Week debut in 2008, secured a Gucci exclusive for Milan Fashion Week the same year, and made her first international television appearance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
She became the face of Gucci’s ‘Flora’ fragrance starting in 2008 and was featured in the Pirelli Calendar in 2010. By 2011, V magazine recognized her as a new ‘Supermodel,’ following multiple covers for Australian Vogue and fronting campaigns for Chanel’s Autumn/Winter ready-to-wear (2010) and Anna Sui FW (2010). In 2012, Kershaw began a successful transition from her full-time modeling career to acting, making her feature film debut as The Dag in George Millers acclaimed post-apocalyptic film ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ in 2015. This marked the beginning of a prolific acting career, including roles in ‘Ruben Guthrie’ (2015), ‘Gods of Egypt’ (2016), and ‘The Neon Demon’ (2016).
She is also slated to appear as Anna in the upcoming TV mini-series ‘Black Rabbit.’
