Abhishek Bachchan was born on February 5, 1976, in Mumbai, India, to veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. He attended Bombay Scottish School, Jamnabai Narsee School, and Modern School in New Delhi, before completing his schooling at Aiglon College in Switzerland. He later enrolled at Boston University to study Arts but returned to Mumbai to pursue an acting career. Bachchan made his debut in J.P. Dutta’s film ‘Refugee’ in 2000, and followed it with several films that initially struggled at the box office.
