Adam Rifkin

Adam Rifkin gained early recognition as a director with his 1991 film ‘The Dark Backward,’ which was acknowledged as one of the top ten films of its year by The New York Post. This followed his directorial debut with ‘Never on Tuesday’ in 1989. Rifkin demonstrated his versatility by directing a range of projects, including the cult classic ‘Detroit Rock City’ for New Line Cinema in 1999, a film that continues to resonate with rock music fans. In 2001, his dramatic work ‘Night at the Golden Eagle’ was an official selection of the prestigious London Film Festival.

Throughout his prolific career, Rifkin has established a strong aptitude for screenwriting, particularly within the family entertainment genre. He penned the screenplays for the successful DreamWorks features ‘Mouse Hunt’ and ‘Small Soldiers,’ in addition to ‘Underdog’ for Walt Disney Studios in 2007, and ‘Zoom,’ starring Tim Allen. His writing credits also include ‘Knucklehead’ for WWE Studios. Beyond commercial successes, Rifkin expanded his directorial scope with ‘LOOK’ in 2007, a drama exploring surveillance.
