Adina Howard achieved significant commercial success with her 1995 debut album, ‘Do You Wanna Ride?’, which earned a Gold certification from the RIAA. The album featured the Platinum-certified single ‘Freak Like Me,’ a career-defining track that reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, alongside other charting singles like ‘My Up and Down’ and ‘It’s All About You.’ Expanding her musical collaborations in 1996, Howard partnered with Warren G on ‘What’s Love Got to Do with It?’ for the ‘Police Story 3: Super Cop’ soundtrack, a hit in both the U.S. and the UK, and contributed to film soundtracks for ‘A Thin Line Between Love and Hate’ and ‘Sunset Park.’ Her acting career also commenced with her feature film debut in the independent film ‘High Freakquency’ in 1997.
