Brittany Allen, born on February 5, 1986, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is a multi-talented artist recognized for her work as an actress, composer, and producer. Her early education included attending Etobicoke School of the Arts and the Sheridan Institute for Technology and Advanced Learning, where she studied Music Theatre – Performance. Allen began her acting career with minor roles in television films, leading to her first significant role as Marissa Chandler on the soap opera “All My Children” from 2009 to 2010. This performance earned her a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in 2011, marking an important milestone in her career.
Following her success on “All My Children,” Allen expanded her presence in television with recurring roles in Canadian productions like “Bomb Girls” and the American science fiction western “Defiance.” Her film career saw a turning point in 2014 when she starred as April in the science fiction horror film “Extraterrestrial,” directed by Colin Minihan, with whom she developed a professional and personal collaboration. This collaboration led to further projects, including the 2016 zombie film “It Stains the Sands Red,” where she also served as an executive producer and took on the lead role of Molly.
