The amazing Alesha Reneé is an actress, TV personality and activist, best known for playing Calysta Jeffries on the UMC original series The Rich & the Ruthless, and for her many appearances on the MTV shows Girl Code, and Guy Code. She has been the voice and face behind a number of brand campaigns, including Proctor & Gamble’s “My Black is Beautiful” campaign and tour. She has also sat on the board of the women’s empowerment organisations WEEN and Hip Hop Sisters.
Reneé began working to help support her family at age 14. She later went on to study acting at the Upright Citizens Brigade and the Aaron Spiser Acting Studio, and made her debut in an episode of the fantasy crime comedy series I Married a Mobster in 2011. She has since gone on to appear in a number of other film and TV productions, including Suburban Sons, Get Your Life, Message from a Mistress, Criminal Minds, Magnum P.I., and 88.
