Alessandra Torresani is an American actress, hailing from California, who is widely renowned for her acting career. She is the only child of James Sylvester Toreson and Marcia Glow, from the age of only two she began dancing and singing and showed great promise as a performer. She competed nationally in dancing winning many awards and is a world dance champion in jazz and tap.
At the age of 9 Torresani won a black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do. She was given work on television at the age of 9 hosting WB Kids club in San Francisco, soon after the family moved to Los Angeles in 2000 to support her career. Torresani has had roles in a range of television shows; two roles that she is well known for are playing Zoe Graystone in the sci-fi series ‘Caprica’ and in the ‘Big Bang Theory’ playing bartender hoping to be a screenwriter. Further screen credits include ‘Batwoman’, ‘Two and a Half Men’, ‘The Sarah Connor Chronicles’, ‘American Horror Story’, ‘Workaholics’, ‘The Fosters’, ‘ER’, ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ and ‘Arrested Development’.
Torresani has featured in movies including Mad Song for USA and Going to the Mat for Disney. She has also appeared in Lost and Found (Warner brothers). Apart from her acting career, Torresani works to promote mental health awareness and encourages people to give emotional support to others. She has a large following on social media and uses it to promote issues that she cares about and to connect with her fans.
