Alex Belew obtained his Culinary Arts degree from The Art Institute of Tennessee in Nashville. Following his education, he established his own catering company, Alex Belew Catering, before transitioning to a role as a high school cooking instructor. In 2018, after earning multiple awards for his cooking, Belew opened his first restaurant. His career gained significant national recognition when he competed on Season 21 of “Hell’s Kitchen,” which aired from September 2022 to February 2023. Belew won the competition, securing a cash prize of $250,000 and a position as head chef at Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen restaurant at Caesar’s Atlantic City. Since his victory, he has continued to expand his culinary reach, sharing recipes on his website, producing cooking videos for social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok, and making guest chef appearances at various restaurants across the United States.
