Alexis Ren, born Alexis René Glabach on November 23, 1996, in Santa Monica, California, began her career in modeling at a young age, starting with Brandy Melville at 13. Her presence online expanded significantly at 15 when viral photos established her as a social media personality. This early exposure paved the way for various modeling opportunities, including campaigns for the mobile game Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire. Ren sustained her modeling career, appearing on the covers of Maxim in August 2017 and Maxim Mexico in March 2018. In 2018, she was recognized as a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue rookie and was later included in Maxim’s Hot 100 list of Sexiest Women in the World in 2019. Her career also saw her featured in publications such as Forbes and Vogue.
Ren expanded her reach into television and music, competing on Season 27 of “Dancing with the Stars” in 2018, where she placed fourth with professional partner Alan Bersten. She also appeared in several music videos, including Ed Sheeran’s “South of the Border” (2019), Kygo’s “Not Ok” (2019), and Fais feat. Afrojack’s “Hey” (2016). Identifying a need for community and mental health support, she founded We Are Warriors in 2021, an online platform dedicated to mental wellness, fitness, and overall personal growth.
We Are Warriors was created as an educational hub designed to provide a supportive environment focusing on self-growth for women globally. The platform integrates fitness, education, journaling, meditation, and live calls into challenges aimed at mental, physical, and spiritual development. It has grown to support thousands of members across over 70 countries. Ren’s commitment to mental health stems in part from personal experiences, including the loss of her mother to breast cancer in 2014 and her subsequent struggle with an eating disorder, which she has openly discussed. This experience fueled her desire to create a space that fosters genuine connection and education, moving beyond surface-level interactions found in some social media environments.
