Concurrently, Sanderson served as a lecturer in visual communication at the London Institute, before co-founding The Future Laboratory, a global futures intelligence consultancy, solidifying his focus on trend forecasting and brand strategy. At The Future Laboratory, Sanderson oversees an extensive portfolio including conferences, media events, in-house briefings, and brand strategy development for international clients.
Beyond his consultancy work, Sanderson has consistently engaged with the British Council on significant international projects. These include establishing magazines in India and Estonia, and advising on the growth of creative industries in Scandinavia. He has also served on the advisory panel for their Creative Industries Unit, underscoring his commitment to fostering creative sector development globally.
