Ali Cobrin

Ali Cobrin was born on July 21, 1989, in Chicago, Illinois. Her early life included training as a classical ballerina and competing in the Junior Olympics as a track and field athlete. She attended the Chicago Academy for the Arts, where she focused on musical theater. Cobrin began her entertainment career as part of the Second City’s teen ensemble, and also performed with the Burklyn Ballet Theater in Scotland, including at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. At 17, after high school, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue acting.

Her career in film began with short films in 2008, followed by a supporting role in Joe Dante’s 3D film “The Hole” in 2009. In 2010, Cobrin made her television debut in a comedy pilot for Spike TV and starred in the Showtime series “LOOK.” A significant milestone in her film career occurred in 2012 with a breakout supporting role as Kara in “American Reunion,” the final installment of the “American Pie” franchise. She continued to secure roles in various films and television shows, including “Neighbors” (2014) as Whitney and “Girl House” (2014) as Kylie Atkins. In 2018, she played Lee Montgomery in “The Iron Orchard.”

Most recently, Cobrin has taken on the main role of Kari Baxter on the Amazon Prime series “The Baxters.” This series has three full seasons and has charted on Prime’s Top 10, significantly contributing to her profile. Throughout her career, Cobrin has demonstrated versatility across comedic and dramatic roles, working with notable projects and maintaining a consistent presence in the entertainment industry.
