Marcella Lentz-Pope is an actor who has worked in Los Angeles and New York for over two decades. She was literally raised in recording booths, having grown up with actor parents and accompanying them to work and auditions. Her father, Tony Pope, is best known for his 12 years as the voice of Disney’s Goofy, and her mother, Pat Lentz, has been narrating The Simpsons for the blind for the past 15 years. She began performing voiceovers at the age of eight and on-camera work at the age of twelve.
Lentz-Pope studied drama at LACHSA, The Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, and spent a summer in London at RADA, The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She has also studied Suzuki with the SITI Company, Viewpoints with Anne Bogart, and Improv & Sketch comedy at The Upright Citizens Brigade, UCB. Lentz-Pope’s diverse career in voiceover, theatre, cinema, and television demonstrates her versatility. She has featured in HBO’s Boardwalk Empire as Mae Capone and as Gaby in the hit movie Superbad. She can also be heard in the Fire Emblem Series as Corrin.
Lentz-Pope has a vast range of expertise that makes her a total pro, from voicing the champion Kindred/Lamb in one of the most popular video games of all time, League of Legends, to playing Rosie O’Donnell’s drug addict daughter in The Fosters.
