American actor Amadeus Serafini is best known for taking on the role of Wilcox in the first two series on MTV’s horror series Scream. He has also been seen in a variety of roles across both television and film, starring opposite household names such as John Cena and Jackie Chan.
Serafini began his career with a part in the independent short film Smoke, playing the role of Vernon. This was soon followed by a minor part in the short web-series Oh La La, Hollywood Speaks French! In 2015, Serafini was cast as Kieran Wilcox in MTV’s reboot of the classic horror film Scream, a role which he continued for two consecutive seasons and 22 episodes in total. The acclaim he gained from this performance led to a central part in Summertime, a feature film from writer and director Edward Burns that saw Serafini play the role of Terry.
Since then, Serafini has been seen in the Youtube Originals series Impulse, in which a young woman discovers the power of teleportation. In 2020, the actor landed a role in the big-budget action thriller Project X-Traction, which sees two ex-special forces soldiers escort a group of civilians to safety through Baghdad’s notorious “Highway of Death”. Serafini’s biggest role to date, this is sure to push him further towards becoming a household name in years to come, as he acts opposite Jackie Chan and John Cena in the role of Henry Van Horne.
