Andrew Michael Milonakis was born on January 30, 1976, in Katonah, New York. He was born with a congenital growth-hormone condition that causes him to have the appearance and voice of an adolescent, a trait he has incorporated into his comedic persona. Milonakis leveraged humor as a coping mechanism during his high school years at John Jay High School in Lewisboro, New York, a strategy that would later become central to his career.
Milonakis’s career began to gain traction in 2003 when a video he posted, “The Super Bowl Is Gay,” went viral. This led to his discovery by a writer for ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” resulting in regular appearances on the show from 2003 to 2004. This exposure paved the way for his own sketch comedy series, “The Andy Milonakis Show,” which aired on MTV and MTV2 from 2005 to 2007. Beyond his titular show, Milonakis has accumulated a diverse filmography, including roles in “Waiting…” (2005), “Mac & Devin Go to High School” (2012), and “King Knight” (2021). He has also contributed voice work to animated series such as “Adventure Time” (2010–2018) and “Future-Worm!” (2016–2018).
In addition to his acting and comedic work, Milonakis has an established career as a rapper and internet personality. He was part of the rap group Three Loco with Simon Rex (Dirt Nasty) and Riff Raff, which was active until 2014. He hosted “Fat Prince,” a cooking show on Vice’s Munchies YouTube channel from 2014 to 2015. Milonakis continues to engage with audiences through his YouTube channel, which he started in 2006, and has maintained a significant online presence, including collaborations with other livestreamers.
