Nicole Murphy was born on January 5, 1968, in Sacramento, California. She began her modeling career at the age of 13 after signing with Ford Models. Her early career saw her traveling internationally, walking runways in major fashion capitals like Paris for prestigious brands such as Chanel, Valentino, and Yves Saint Laurent. This international exposure established her as a prominent figure in high fashion modeling. She gained further public recognition through her marriage to comedian Eddie Murphy, which lasted from 1993 to 2006, and with whom she shares five children.
