6 Times Salsa World Champion Anita Santos Rubi is a dancer, choreographer and social media influencer from Brazil. Along with her partner Adrián Rodríguez, she has toured the world as ‘Adrián y Anita’ for over 15 years travelling to the United States, India, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Vietnam, United Kingdom, Domincan Republic, Russia, Taiwan and many more doing shows and workshops. The dancing superstar has also gained international prominence for sharing her dancing tutorials and tips on Facebook and Instagram where she has amassed hundreds of thousands of followers and has worked for more than five years on the television show Mira Quien Baila

Born and raised in the Brazilian city of Ponta Grossa, Rubi was fond of both dancing and singing from an early age, and joined a local dancing school where she quickly mastered several dance forms including Salsa and Bachata. The dance sensation began her professional career performing in various local events and dancing competitions in Brazil, and rose to international prominence after winning the World Championships of Salsa in Madrid with Adrián Rodríguez.

The dancing duo have become champions of World Salsa dance an impressive five times more since then, and have also opened their own school in Barcelona for Latin dance called the “New Dance Center”, where they teach a variety of dance forms including Kizomba, Bachata, Salsa, Zumba and many others.
