Sally Phillips

Sally Phillips is an accomplished English actress, writer, and comedian recognized for her extensive work across film, television, and radio. After establishing her comedic foundation performing at nine Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, featuring in productions such as ‘Ra-Ra-Rasputin’ and ‘Cluub Zarathustra’, Sally Phillips began her impactful career across film, television, and radio. Her television debut came in 1994 on ‘Fist of Fun’. Phillips gained significant recognition as a co-creator, writer, and performer in the critically acclaimed sketch comedy show ‘Smack the Pony’, which aired from 1998 to 2002 and earned two International Emmy Awards.

Her versatility was further showcased as Tilly in the popular sitcom ‘Miranda’ (2009–2015) and as Mrs. Bennet in ‘Pride and Prejudice and Zombies’ (2016). These roles cemented her reputation for combining comedic timing with strong character performance. Expanding her creative scope, Phillips penned the feature film script ‘The Decoy Bride’ in 2010.
