Aparna Shewakramani initially pursued a career as an attorney, a path that cultivated her analytical skills and strong voice. Her life took a significant turn when she participated in Netflix’s reality series, “Indian Matchmaking,” in July 2020. This experience, while bringing her into the public eye, also depicted a carefully edited version of her personality, leading to public discussions about her perceived ‘pickiness’ and ‘demanding’ nature. Following her appearance on the show, Shewakramani made a career shift, taking a sabbatical from law in October 2020 to explore new avenues, including writing and public speaking.
