April Michelle Bowlby was born on July 30, 1980, in Vallejo, California, and later moved to Manteca, California, during her childhood. She pursued studies in ballet, French, and marine biology at Moorpark College before focusing on an acting career. Her commitment to acting quickly led to a significant breakthrough when she secured the role of Kandi in the CBS series “Two and a Half Men” within weeks of her first Hollywood audition. Her portrayal of the character Kandi from 2005 to 2007, with guest appearances in later seasons, established her presence in the entertainment industry and highlighted her comedic timing.
