April Macie

April Macie was born in Easton, Pennsylvania, USA, and later moved to Florida after completing high school. She established herself in the comedy circuit, gaining recognition for her stand-up performances. In 2005, she was highlighted as an “emerging talent to watch” by The Hollywood Reporter at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. Macie became a finalist on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” in 2006, where she participated in the initial rounds of the competition. Her career expanded to include appearances on E! Entertainment, Sirius and XM Radio, Access Hollywood, and The Todd and Tyler Radio Empire. She has also performed for the USO, touring over 16 countries to entertain troops. Her versatility led to roles as an actress in productions such as “A Guy Walks Into a Bar” (2011) and “April & Christina” (2008).

Macie’s career progressed with notable achievements in both stand-up and television. In 2008, she was voted the “Funniest and Hottest” comedian in America on the Howard Stern Show, where she is a regular guest. She appeared in the documentary “I Am Comic,” which premiered at the 2010 Slamdance Film Festival, and in the stand-up special “Vegas Is My Oyster.” In 2012, Macie was a featured performer in “Snoop Dogg Presents The Bad Girls of Comedy,” which aired on Showtime. A significant milestone occurred on January 19, 2013, when she co-hosted the 30th AVN Awards. Further expanding her reach, she appeared on Episode 5 of the Netflix series “Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready” in 2019, where she also held executive producer and writer credits for one episode.
