Brigitte Kali

Brigitte Kali Canales is a Latin-American actress of Mexican, Cuban, and Spanish heritage, born and raised in Miami, Florida. Her early years were largely spent in New York City. She pursued musical theater at New World School of the Arts in Miami, a magnet high school known for its programs in the arts. Following this, she attended Florida International University, where she studied Advertising. This academic path indirectly led her to develop a strong passion for voice-over work, which in turn became a foundational element of her career.

Her career expanded into hosting, where she gained experience working with notable platforms such as Billboard Latino and MTV’s bilingual network, MTV3, where she served as a VJ for the Top 20 countdown. This hosting experience provided a stepping stone into her primary passion: television and film acting. Brigitte Kali Canales has accumulated a portfolio of recurring roles, including Rachel in “Fear the Walking Dead” (2020–2021) for 7 episodes and Trace Martez in animated series such as “Star Wars: Clone Wars” (2020) for 4 episodes and “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” (2021) for 1 episode, where she provided voice work. She has also appeared as Tezca in “Roswell, New Mexico” (2021–2022) for 8 episodes and is currently featured as Officer Alexis Cabrera on “S.W.A.T.” (2022–2025) in 18 episodes. In film, she played the Young Mother in “Baby Driver” (2017) and Cristina in “The Old Ways” (2020), further diversifying her acting range. Additionally, she lent her voice to Kendra Daniels in the 2023 video game “Dead Space”.

Beyond her acting roles, Brigitte Kali Canales has also ventured into directing, with credits for short films such as “Love in the Time of Cholula” (2020) and “Extended Stay” (2020).
