Brigitte Kali Canales now has over a decade of acting, hosting, and voice-acting experience. A Latin-American actress of Cuban, Mexican, and Spanish descent, she is currently best known for her recurring roles as Rachel in Fear the Walking Dead, Officer Alexis Cabrera in S.W.A.T., and Tezca in Roswell, New Mexico. She also voiced Trace Martez in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. She also hosted a season of the Spanish gameshow, Alta Tension, in 2011. In 2022, she was announced as part of the cast of Married with Friends, a “dramedy” series being developed by CBS.
Born in Miami, Florida, in 1990, Kali Canales made her first television appearance as a teenager, playing a role in an episode of a Spanish-language telenova called Olvidarte Jamas (Always on My Mind) that was made for Latin-American audiences in the United States. Her first breakthrough, however, came when she became a presenter on Alta Tension, a Spanish gameshow based on the classic American show, Wipeout. This was followed by several years of working her way up through appearances in short and independent films and one-off roles in television series. Her next break came in 2020 when she voiced Trace Martez in several episodes of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series. That same year, she also played Rachel in the sixth season of the cult horror series, Fear the Walking Dead, which provided her with by far her greatest exposure to date.
Since then, the parts have started coming, with recurring roles in multiple dramas, such as playing Tezca in the third and fourth seasons of sci-fi drama, Roswell, New Mexico.
