Asia O’Hara

Asia O’Hara, known professionally as Antwan Mason Lee, achieved national recognition after being crowned Miss Gay America in 2016, a prestigious title earning her the moniker ‘Symbol of Excellence.’ This pinnacle achievement followed a distinguished career in the drag pageantry circuit, where she secured numerous other national and regional accolades. Earlier in her career, Asia was named Miss Gay USofA in 2007, followed by Miss Texas FFI and Texas National Entertainer of the Year in 2010, and All American Goddess in 2012. Her talent extended beyond performance; O’Hara established her company, Helen of Seven, specializing in custom costume designs for a diverse clientele including dance teams, color guards, ice skaters, and fellow drag performers. She also applied her expertise as a makeup artist and played a pivotal role behind the scenes in planning and promoting preliminary competitions.

Asia O’Hara continues to be a prominent and influential figure within the drag and broader LGBTQ+ communities, leveraging her platform for both advocacy and entertainment. Beyond her performing career, O’Hara has demonstrated a dedication to animal welfare, volunteering her time to organizations like the ASPCA.
