Ayo Edebiri is an acclaimed actress, comedian, writer, and director, known for her award-winning performances and sharp comedic writing that bring significant value to diverse entertainment projects. After achieving widespread critical acclaim for her role as ambitious sous chef Sydney Adamu in the FX on Hulu series The Bear, Ayo Edebiri has become an award-winning actress, comedian, writer, and director. Her performance in The Bear earned her a Golden Globe Award (2023), a Primetime Emmy Award (2024), and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Edebiri’s career rapidly progressed through her writing contributions to television series such as The Rundown with Robin Thede and NBC’s Sunnyside.

In 2020, she joined the writing staff of Big Mouth for its fourth season and took over the voice role of Missy Foreman-Greenwald, appearing in 42 episodes until 2025. She further showcased her writing and acting talents in Apple TV+’s Dickinson (2021), where she collaborated with Christopher Storer.
