Azadeh Shirazi

Dr. Azadeh Shirazi is a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in cosmetic, surgical, and medical dermatology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Following this, she completed her Dermatology Medical training at both the Mayo Clinic and the University of California San Diego. Dr. Shirazi further advanced her research experience by undertaking a Research Fellowship at Harvard Medical School at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine, where her work focused on the effects of light and laser therapies on human biology, specifically investigating innovative uses of light wavelengths for inflammation reduction.

Throughout her career, Dr. Shirazi has been dedicated to continuous innovation in dermatology. A notable achievement is her invention of EyeGlow®, a non-surgical brightening procedure that uses a white opaque filler blend to treat under-eye hollowness and dark circles. This demonstrates her commitment to developing tailored solutions for patient needs. She values the doctor-patient relationship and strives to provide personalized dermatological care.

With over 10 years on faculty at Scripps Clinic, Dr. Shirazi has played a role in training other physicians in dermatology and skin surgery. As a skin cancer specialist, she has provided treatment to numerous patients. Dr. Shirazi is regularly invited to speak at prominent national and international conferences, sharing her research findings and unique techniques with other medical professionals. Her appearances include the Global Aesthetic Conference, American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons Conference, and the World Congress of Dermatology Summit in Argentina.
