Bart Lambriex established himself as an elite competitive sailor from an early age, first achieving international recognition by earning a silver medal at the Optimist World Championship in 2011. This significant achievement underscored his emerging talent and laid the foundation for a distinguished career in high-performance sailing, paving the way for his progression through increasingly challenging classes. Lambriex transitioned to the demanding 49er class, a high-speed skiff event requiring exceptional skill and teamwork. Partnering with Pim van Vugt, he showcased his prowess by securing an 8th-place finish at the 2019 49er & 49er FX World Championships in Auckland.
Competing once again in the Men’s Skiff event, he achieved a formidable 6th-place finish, solidifying his consistent presence among the world’s top sailing athletes. His unbroken streak of high-level performances and multiple championship titles underscore his status as a preeminent figure in international competitive sailing.
