Betsy Wolfe

Betsy Wolfe, born Elizabeth Marie Wolfe on June 1, 1982, in Visalia, California, has established a notable career in the entertainment industry as an actress and singer. She pursued her education at the University of Cincinnati – College-Conservatory of Music, graduating in 2004. Her early career included roles in regional theater productions, such as Evelyn Nesbit in “Ragtime” at Paper Mill Playhouse in 2005 and Rona Lisa Peretti in “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” in 2006. These early experiences laid the groundwork for her eventual transition to prominent roles on Broadway.

Wolfe’s Broadway debut came with “110 in the Shade” in 2007. She continued to build her presence on the stage, appearing in “Everyday Rapture” (2009-2010), and taking on the role of Rosa Bud in “The Mystery of Edwin Drood” (2012–13). A significant turning point in her career was her performance as Cathy Hiatt in the 2013 off-Broadway revival of “The Last Five Years,” which garnered positive critical attention. Her talent led her to roles in “Bullets Over Broadway” (2014), Cordelia in “Falsettos” (2016–17), and Jenna Hunterson in “Waitress” (2017–18), further solidifying her reputation as a leading performer in musical theater.
