Greg Bryk

Born on August 19, 1972, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Greg Bryk pursued a Bachelor of Arts in drama from Queen’s University, graduating in 1994. During his university years, he was also a linebacker for the Queen’s Gaels football team, contributing to their victory in the 28th Vanier Cup. Bryk began his acting career in 1998 with roles in film and television, steadily building a portfolio that would come to include diverse and impactful characters across multiple genres. He married Danielle Bryk on March 9, 1996, and they have three children.

Bryk’s career milestones include significant roles in major productions such as “A History of Violence” (2005), “Shoot ‘Em Up” (2007), and the “Saw” franchise, appearing in “Saw V” (2008) and “Saw 3D” (2010). His television work features main roles in series like “ReGenesis” (2004–2008), “XIII: The Series” (2011–2012), “Bitten” (2014–2016), and “Frontier” (2016–2018). These roles allowed him to showcase his range and establish a consistent presence in the entertainment industry. He also performed stunts in “My Spy” (2020) and served as an executive producer for “Parallel Minds” (2020).

A notable turning point in Bryk’s career came with his performance capture role as the lead antagonist Joseph Seed in the critically acclaimed video game “Far Cry 5” (2018), a role he reprised in “Far Cry: New Dawn” (2019) and “Far Cry 6” (2021). This work expanded his reach into interactive media and further solidified his reputation for portraying complex characters.
