Bobby Zamora

Bobby Zamora is a former professional footballer recognized for his impactful career as a forward and his recent transition into coaching, offering valuable experience to football development. After a prolific goalscoring start to his professional career, Bobby Zamora established himself as a pivotal figure for Brighton & Hove Albion, contributing to two successive promotions. His professional career began with Bristol Rovers in 1999, where he made six substitute appearances. He subsequently embarked on impactful loan spells, first at Bath City, netting 11 goals in eight appearances, and then at Brighton & Hove Albion, scoring six goals in six appearances.

In January 2012, he transferred to Queens Park Rangers, where he again proved instrumental in a promotion campaign, scoring the only goal in the 2014 Championship play-off final to secure QPR’s return to the Premier League. After a final playing spell with Brighton & Hove Albion in 2015, Zamora announced his retirement from professional football in December 2016. Post-retirement, he has remained involved in the football world, notably taking on a coaching role with Brighton & Hove Albion in October 2024, focusing on developing attacking players. Beyond football, he appeared in the fishing series The Grand Fishing Adventure in 2022 and has been involved in social housing initiatives.
