After being selected 21st overall by the Atlanta Hawks in the 2003 NBA Draft, Boris Diaw embarked on a distinguished 14-season NBA career. Diaw initially honed his versatile skill set with Pau-Orthez in France from 2001 to 2003, where he participated in the league’s All-Star game and Slam Dunk contest in 2002. His early years with the Hawks saw him primarily as a shooting guard, setting the stage for his multi-positional play.

Transitioning seamlessly from player to executive, Diaw became the president of Metropolitans 92 in July 2019, an executive role that continues to solidify his enduring impact on professional basketball, showcasing his leadership and strategic acumen beyond the court.
