London-born Georgie Leahy is a captivating singer, dancer and fire breathing performer who rose to fame after appearing on Britain’s Got Talent as part of dance troupe Girls Roc. Now a star in her own right, there is nothing Leahy can’t do.
Multi-talented Leahy first gained notoriety for her exciting performances with Girls Roc, which included routines featuring fire breathing, snakes and aerial acrobatics. Their exhilarating performances won them a slot in the talent show’s semi-final. The group has performed worldwide at private functions and events and made an appearance in 2013 biopic The Look of Love, starring Steve Coogan.
As an actress, Leahy has performed on television, in movies, and on stage, with on-screen credits including Sony’s Sofia’s Diary, Demons and Doors, Treasure King, Winter’s Secret, Sugar Baby, Visage, Blame the Hero and Monster Party, among others. Leahy has also won several credits as herself, which include hosting gigs with Nub TV and News Uncovered, and an appearance on Real Husbands of Hollywood.
Not one to shy away from a challenge, Leahy has enjoyed an eclectic career; she has toured as a backing singer with Adam Ant, appeared in the music video for Pharrell William’s hit song Happy and Miley Cyrus’ MTV Video Music Awards promo, and starred in The Tension Experience, an immersive theatre show created by Saw director Darren Lynn Bousman.
Today, Leahy resides in Los Angeles and has her sights set on even bigger adventures. A force to be reckoned with, Leahy is currently working on her debut album, posing as a muse for artists and continues to film, with the film PinkCity pending release.
