The multi-talented Brandon Gilpin (aka ShowTimeBrando) is a young actor, dancer, musician, comedian, filmmaker, reality TV personality, and entrepreneur. He is best known for playing DJ Neva Sacred in the STARZ series P-Valley.
Born and raised in Amityville, New York, Gilpin started off his entertainment career as a dancer. However, he soon discovered a natural talent as an all-round entertainer. He began to work the local party scene by dancing and teaming up with various DJs to host parties, building his brand name ShowTimeBrando. He then started posting comedy videos and skits to his social media accounts and began to build up followers. He released his first song in 2015, ShowTimeBrando – Ultimate Dance Challenge, and the video of him dancing to the track went viral on Facebook. He was still only when he decided to pursue acting and began to attend auditions in New York. He was cast in a couple of short movies, and then in 2018 he joined the crew of the TV series The Quad as a production intern. He made his film debut in 2019’s Greyson Family Christmas, for which he was also a songwriter and performer, and in 2020 he made his TV acting debut in High Maintenance. He has since appeared in a number of other productions, including P-Valley, Blue Bloods, and Gone. His latest single, Let Me Party, was released in 2021.
Gilpin regularly connects with his legions of followers and fans through Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter, posting pictures and videos about his entertaining life.
