Aubryanna “Bree” Hall was born on June 28, 2003, in Dayton, Ohio. She developed her basketball skills at Wayne High School in Huber Heights, Ohio, where she became the school’s all-time leading scorer. During her senior year, Hall averaged 25.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 3.3 steals per game. Her outstanding performance earned her significant accolades, including McDonald’s All-American honors and the Ohio Ms. Basketball award in 2021. Following a successful high school career, Hall committed to playing college basketball at the University of South Carolina, where she continued to build her reputation as a formidable player.
At South Carolina, Hall was an integral part of two NCAA Championship-winning teams in 2022 and 2024. As a freshman, she contributed to the team’s national championship victory, averaging 2.7 points and 1.5 rebounds per game. Her role expanded in her sophomore year, becoming a key bench player with averages of 5 points and 1.9 rebounds per game, helping the Gamecocks reach the Final Four in 2023. By her junior year, Hall transitioned into a starting role, demonstrating consistent improvement and leadership on the court. Her collegiate career concluded with 146 games played and a total of 5.8 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.
Bree Hall transitioned to her professional career when she was drafted 20th overall by the Indiana Fever in the 2025 WNBA Draft. Following her initial waiving and subsequent rejoining of the Fever on a hardship contract, she also played for the Golden State Valkyries in 2025, gaining valuable WNBA experience. In September 2025, Hall further expanded her professional experience by joining Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball for its fifth season, showcasing her commitment to continuous development in her sport.
