Brent Weinbach

Brent Weinbach is an American stand-up comedian, actor, director, and pianist based in Los Angeles, California. He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where he developed a background that included professional jazz piano and substitute teaching. Weinbach is known for his experimental style and abstract, deadpan delivery in comedy. His career began in 2000, and he quickly gained recognition for his innovative approach to stand-up, earning the Andy Kaufman Award for innovation in stand-up comedy and becoming a finalist in the 2008 San Francisco Comedy Competition. He has since appeared on television shows such as “Conan,” “Lopez Tonight,” and various programs on Comedy Central, HBO, IFC, ABC, and Adult Swim.

Weinbach has also made significant contributions to video content, creating viral sensations like “Gangster Party Line,” “Mind Jack,” and “Ultimate Drumming Technique.” He co-created and co-directed the web series “Pound House” with DJ Douggpound, which received a Streamy Award nomination. His filmography includes a small role in “Medicine for Melancholy” in 2008 and appearances in TV series like “The Middle,” “Comedy Bang!
