Brett Claywell has built a career as an actor and producer, known for his roles in popular television series and his work behind the camera on various production projects. After portraying Tim Smith for three seasons across 33 episodes on The CW’s ‘One Tree Hill’ (2003-2008), Brett Claywell gained national recognition for his impactful role as Kyle Lewis on ABC’s long-running daytime series ‘One Life to Live,’ appearing in 98 episodes between 2009 and 2010. His performance earned critical acclaim and a GLAAD Award. Claywell’s early television career also included appearances as a Dancer and Set P.A.

Demonstrating further versatility, Claywell also took on the demanding role of executive producer and showrunner for ‘The Recruit’ in 2019, cementing his expertise in steering complex projects. He continued executive producing with ‘Rocky Horror Show: Livestream Theater’ in 2020, followed by a producing credit for ‘FOX SOUL’s Christmas Special Powered by Da Poetry Lounge’ in 2021. His unique background, including an Architecture degree from North Carolina State University alongside his theater studies, provides a distinctive structural and creative perspective to his projects, enhancing his strategic approach to content development and execution.
