Multi-talented actor Brett Claywell is a producer, director, and entrepreneur. Perhaps most recognised for his portrayal of Kyle Lewis on the ABC classic daytime series “One Life to Live,” Claywell has left a lasting impression on Hollywood. Born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina, Claywell fell in love with performing at a young age at his local theatre. Straight after graduating from the North Carolina State University, Claywell pursued his acting career. His breakthrough role came with the CW’s hit show “One Tree Hill” where he played Tim Smith for three seasons. Now a leading voice in content production, Claywell has enjoyed a colourful career.
Claywell is no stranger to critical acclaim. Portraying the young medical student Kyle Lewis, Claywell earned a GLAAD award and was named as one of daytime’s most talked about actors in 2010. Winning the hearts and minds of a nation, Claywell has built a lasting acting legacy. Claywell’s other acting credits include the Joss Whedon Sci-Fi classic “Dollhouse,” sports drama “The Final Season” and the reality show “This is LA.” Behind the camera, Claywell has sat in the director and producers chair.
Passionate about creating real-life stories, Claywell is the showrunner and executive producer for the lifestyle shows “This Is SF” and “The Recruit.” Possibly one of the busiest artists in the industry, Claywell balances his day job with his lucrative content management business “HMBL” and is the co-founder of the charity project “Tiltify.” Producing the first HMBL live stream event for the “Dazed and Confused” script read of the iconic film, Claywell is bringing together a community of actors and fans. As Claywell continues to push the boundaries of the industry, he will be entertaining audiences for years to come.
