Brett Cullen has built a diverse acting career across film and television, transitioning from early roles in popular dramas to significant supporting characters in major productions. After establishing a significant presence in television as Dan Fixx in 53 episodes of ‘Falcon Crest’ from 1986 to 1988, Brett Cullen continued his trajectory with a starring role as Sam Cain in the ABC Western series ‘The Young Riders’ for its inaugural season (1989-1990). His early career also included contributions to acclaimed miniseries such as ‘The Chisholms’ (1980) and ‘The Thorn Birds’ (1983), alongside guest appearances on iconic shows like ‘MASH,’ ‘Tales from the Crypt,’ and ‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’ throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Cullen seamlessly transitioned into film, making an impact as CAPCOM 1 in the Academy Award-winning Apollo 13 (1995) and as Jamie Johnson in Something to Talk About (1995).
That same year, he received dual accolades for his performance in The Riot Act, winning Best Actor and sharing the Best Ensemble Cast award at the LA February Awards. His television presence continued with roles in popular series such as Narcos (2016-2017) and Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty (20222023) as Bill Sharman.
