Bryan Brown

Bryan Brown is an acclaimed Australian actor and producer known for his extensive career in film and television, with notable roles that have captivated audiences globally. After earning international recognition and an AACTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance in Bruce Beresford’s ‘Breaker Morant’ in 1980, Bryan Brown went on to build an extensive career across film and television. His professional film career commenced with a role in ‘Scobie Malone’ (1975), followed by his first lead in ‘The Love Letters from Teralba Road’ (1977) and a part in ‘The Irishman’ (1978). Brown’s international profile significantly expanded with his leading role as Joe Harmon in the critically acclaimed TV miniseries ‘A Town Like Alice’ (1981).

He executive produced ‘Lessons from the Grave’ (2014) and ‘Let’s Talk About’ (2015), and served as a producer for ‘Beautiful Kate’ (2009) and ‘Palm Beach’ (2019), the latter two directed by Rachel Ward.
